Plan the preparation before stock moves
Product preparation starts before the supplier ships the goods. Confirm the ASIN or SKU, product description, dimensions and weight, number of units, destination marketplace and the physical operations required. Share clear photos of the retail packaging and supplier cartons when possible.
The shipment plan and labels must correspond to the seller's current Seller Central instructions. The prep center needs the final files, quantities and approved scope before processing begins; it should not guess product data or make account decisions for the seller.
Receiving and identifying the products
When stock arrives, the agreed receiving process should reconcile the cartons and units against the information supplied by the seller. Visible damage, quantity differences or unidentified products need to be reported before extra work is authorised.
Each physical unit must be linked to the correct product reference. If the supplier packaging, barcode or quantity differs from the instructions, pause that affected item and confirm the next action instead of applying labels to uncertain stock.
Labels, packaging and special operations
FNSKU labelling, barcode covering, poly-bagging, bundling, protective packaging and repacking are separate physical operations. The correct combination depends on the product, its packaging and the current requirements shown for that seller's shipment.
Confirm which materials are included and which are quoted separately. Labels must be legible and attached to the intended unit; packaging should protect the product without hiding information that must remain visible. Products that need unusual handling should be agreed before arrival.
Prepare cartons for the current shipment plan
After unit preparation, cartons should be built from the confirmed shipment plan and the quantities actually processed. Box labels, product labels and carton contents must correspond to the files and instructions provided for that dispatch.
Before carrier handover, reconcile the prepared quantities and record any units that were not included. Amazon requirements and Seller Central workflows can change, so the seller should confirm the current plan rather than relying on a previous shipment as a universal template.
Request a quotation for the real preparation scope
For a useful quotation, send the product description, dimensions and weight, number of units, expected monthly volume, destination country and the operations you need. Include packaging photos and describe any bundle, protective material or special handling requirement.
FBA Pinatar agrees the preparation scope before work begins. Contact the team by WhatsApp or email; there is no public walk-in service, and the prep-center address is shared only after the collaboration and inbound process have been agreed.
